Genesis Commercial Real Estate Group is a small boutique firm dedicated to providing clients an unmatched level of attention and support for their Real Estate needs. Seth Funt

Mr. Funt started his real estate career in 1997 helping his family grow and manage a large portfolio of both office and medical office properties.

He is a graduate of Roger Williams University, with honors from the Gabelli School of Business in Rhode Island, where he received a Batchelor of Science in Business Marketing.

Mr. Funt joined the globally recognized CBRE Group in New York City, with a focus on large office projects in Mid-Town Manhattan, Long Island, and Hampton’s markets.

In 2004, he moved to Florida to pursue the expansion of the Prudential CRES Commercial Real Estate Solutions portfolio, which included the expansion of the Tampa General Hospital in Tampa Florida, and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. He held the position as the firm’s top producer during his tenure.

In 2006, Mr. Funt joined Atlantic Commercial Group to focus on the expansion of Rhode Island’s  based CVS pharmacy in the Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade County markets. He worked under the region’s top producers learning the intricate details of how CVS and other large publicly traded companies conduct all aspects of their Real Estate Portfolio management, expansion and development strategies.

In 2008, he formed Genesis Commercial Real Estate Group, a firm dedicated to all aspects of his clients Real Estate needs including Sales, Leasing, Acquisitions, Land Development and Real Estate Feasibility Consulting services.

In addition to servicing a large Commercial and Residential portfolio of high net worth individuals, Mr. Funt also works diligently on philanthropy for a variety of charities including:

• Leukemia and Lymphoma Society – He was the 2014 nominee for the Man of the Year campaign

• Place of Hope, a charity organization assisting orphan children in South Florida

• Make a Wish Foundation

• Wounded Worriers Project

Mr. Funt is also an avid fisherman and is professionally sponsored by Mercury Marine, Under Armour, Shimano, and Humminbird. He writes monthly articles in some of the industries largest publications including Florida Sportfishing Magazine, Florida Sportsman & In the Bite Magazine a publication for professionals.

He lives in Delray Beach with his wife Elizabeth and their two children Rhys and Mia.

Erik Johnson

Erik Johnson joined Genesis after building on nearly a decade of commercial lending experience with both national and community banks in South Florida.  He has also served on the retail management team of several Fortune 500 companies. In both capacities, he worked across industries to add value to hundreds of local small business owners, their employees and families.Mr. Johnson managed and oversaw numerous branches consistently earning top recognition and awards.

Known for his client-centric focus, he educates clients so they make the best decisions possible. Mr. Johnson combines new school technology with old school hard work and ethics and does everything in his power to ensure his client’s success.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Florida and MBA from Florida Atlantic University.

He is very active in the community, including;

• Realtors Commercial Alliance of Palm Beach County where he is on the Board of Directors, serves as the area’s Grievance Liaison, and is a member of several committees

• Leukemia and Lymphoma Society where he was a 2012 Man of the Year candidate and serves on their nominating committee

• Advisory Board for Keiser University
